Job Purpose

Reporting to the Head of Indirect Industrial Group Procurement, as procurement specialist he/she will be responsible for managing and coordinating all sourcing and procurement activities of indirect industrial material, services and equipment for the Spanish manufacturing plant and for French manufacturing plant according to defined value of spending treshold. 

Key Responsibilities


•    Ensure all demand requirements for Indirect industrial material are fulfilled for the plants.
•    Collaborate with site leadership and stakeholders on effectively managing supply base to ensure high level of performance and continuity of supply.
•    Work with vendors to resolve any supply, quality or delivery issues.
•    Responsible for delivering established budget and cost savings targets through competitive bidding, and effective negotiation of supply and service agreements. Identify future opportunities for         cost savings. Track and record savings projects.
•    Lead, in alignment with stakeholders needs and Group Procurement guidelines, strategic sourcing initiatives 
•    Responsible for local P2P (Procure to Pay) process, including P.O. emission 
•    Support Finance to solve accounts paid issues.
•    Develop and manage the RFI/RFP (tender) process according to Global and local Sourcing policies as required.
•    Negotiate key supplier contracts. Negotiation of payment terms.
•    Supervise local contract management process for indirect industrial spend.
•    Monitor market trends for industrial materials.
•    Supplier relationship management including regular supplier review meetings.
•    Responsibility for new Vendor setup, change vendor data, reactivation or close vendor in the system.
•    Supervise contract management process for Spain and France commercial legal entities.
•    Support global reporting requirements (as needed).
 

Required Education

•   University Degree with related experience required
 

Required Skills and Experience

•   Minimum 3/5 years Procurement experience 
•   Experience in Pharma healthcare industry is preferred
•   Contract and Negotiation skills
•    Analytical skills & Problem Solving, results oriented
•    Good Communication skills 
•    International environment and availability for business trip
•    Teamwork

Technical Competencies

•    Experience in procurement and negotiation of indirect industrial materials/equipments/services
•    Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint)
•    SAP Knowledge
 

Required Languages

•    Fluent English and Spanish; French as plus
