Indirect Procurement Specialist DACH

Job Purpose
This role is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive Indirect Procurement roadmap across the DACH region. You will lead the adoption of the Procurement culture in the area and ensure operational excellence in indirect procurement — overseeing a spend of approximately $40M across all indirect categories.
Key Responsibilities
- Analysing spending & contracts to identify priorities
- Managing the Indirect spending and footprint to lead cost reduction and efficacy in services delivery and quality
- Contributing to the decision-making process by logically presenting ideas to decision makers, being a strong logic thinker, using information to accurately make timely decisions.
- Defines the DACH procurement strategy and standards and leads selection of suppliers in accordance with the Regional Manager
- Working with the stakeholders to identify spend areas and organize buying processes with the goal of identifying savings and/or to ensure the business continuity
- Supports the fostering of procurement culture implementation.
Required Education
- Bachelor Engineering/Economy preferred
Required Skills and Experience
- Attitude towards stakeholder management
- Analytical skills and Tender management experience
- At least 5 years of Indirect Procurement experience

Technical Competencies
- SAP knowledge
- E-procurement platform experience
- MS office (Excel and PowerPoint as a must)

- Good organizational and priority handling skills
Required Languages
German and English – French and Italian as a plus
