Job Purpose

The Tax Specialist_VAT Expert will be part of the Tax HQ Department of Recordati. His/Her role will be focused mainly on VAT and Customs issues and partially on corporate income taxes. He/She will also assist in identifying areas of risk and opportunities for sustainable planning of indirect taxes and provide internal advisory support across the Group.

Key Responsibilities

- providing daily support to all VAT compliance activities within the Group;

- acting as the point of contact for external compliance providers;  

- participating in IT projects, cross-team round tables, knowledge sharing and training;

- monitoring changes in VAT laws and integrating them into company processes;

- supporting internal departments with customs-related enquiries;

- assisting with other indirect taxes (stamp duties etc.)

Required Education

Law / Business Administration

Required Skills and Experience

3/5 years experience in a similar role.

Technical Competencies

  • Good knowledge of VAT regulations;
  • Experience in customs area;
  • Analytical skills with high attention to detail;

Required Languages

English
