Job Purpose

The role promote the RRD products within the Endocrinology field and will identify key accounts, establish partnerships with key Health Care Professionals (HCPs), hospital pharmacists, payors and any other key stakeholders.

Based in the field and responsible for the following regions: Campania, Puglia, Sicilia, Calabria e Basilicata. he/she will build sustainable relationships with key stakeholders and leverage customer insights to develop strategies and solutions, which will facilitate access to the RRD products in the hospitals.

Key Responsibilities and Objectives

DUTIES

  • Ensure daily customer contact through one-to-one or remote digital meetings, group meetings, speaker meetings and symposia
  • Understand brand priorities and needs relative to each account as well as decision-making process
  • Understand and describe the patient flow in each hospital, highlighting the key drivers and barriers
  • Develop and maintain account plan and make recommendations for local initiatives or strategies
  • Provide input on business intelligence reports with tracking and analysis
  • Monitoring Tender’s status
  • Complete RRD’s administrative requirements within agreed timelines

OBJECTIVES

  • Increase awareness of specific Rare Diseases and related RRD products
  • Inclusion of RRD products in hospital and regional formularies
  • Business achievements within the assigned territory

Key Interactions

INTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS: Subsidiary Staff, Subsidiary Head, Subsidiary Medical and National and International Marketing

EXTERNAL STAKEHOLDERS: Hospital Practitioners, Regional stakeholders, Regional Health Authorities and Payors, HCP

Required Education

Scientific background education: Pharmacist or similar

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5 years pharmaceutical sales experience (3 years’ experience in the region assigned)
  • Hospital and specialist sales experience is strongly recommended
  • Knowledge in the rare disease field or in niche market product as a plus
  • Significant experience in complex environment
  • Hospital network in niche products
