Job Purpose

The Industrial BD & Integration Specialist will join the Industrial Strategy, Business Development & Integration team which supports Corporate Business Development in the evaluation and execution of external growth opportunities, including M&A transactions and licensing deals, from a Technical Operations perspective.
The role contributes to the assessment of potential targets across the industrial value chain, focusing on COGS structure, supply chain robustness, quality and compliance track record, manufacturing capabilities, technology readiness and potential technology transfer requirements.
The Specialist will be involved in preliminary assessments and due diligence activities, working closely with cross functional Technical Operations teams (e.g. Supply Chain, Quality, MSAT, Manufacturing, …) to support a structured and timely industrial evaluation and to translate technical insights into business relevant inputs.
Following a successful due diligence, the role supports the industrial aspects of deal execution, including the preparation of transactional agreements (e.g. License Agreements, Commercial Supply Agreements) and the initial integration of acquired or in licensed assets, contributing to a smooth transition into the company’s operational framework.

Key Responsibilities

    Support in the analysis, compilation and consolidation of industrial and technical data related to Business Development initiatives, including M&A and licensing opportunities.
    Contribute to preliminary industrial assessments of potential targets, evaluating manufacturing feasibility, COGS structure, supply chain setup, quality and compliance history, and technology requirements.
    Coordinate cross‑functional Industrial Operations functions (e.g. Supply Chain, Quality, MSAT, Manufacturing, Engineering) during Due Diligence and post‑deal integration phases, ensuring alignment, completeness and timely delivery of assessments.
    Support the preparation of Due Diligence reports, consolidating inputs from multiple technical functions and translating scientific and technical findings into clear, business‑relevant conclusions for decision‑making
    Contribute to the identification, assessment and mitigation planning of technical, quality and supply chain risks, supporting fact‑based recommendations to management and Corporate Business Development.
    Actively support and coordinate, within the Industrial Operations Department, the drafting of transaction‑related documents (e.g. License Agreements, Commercial Supply Agreements, …) and contribute to negotiation activities, ensuring consistency between deal terms and industrial feasibility
    Assess feasibility and risks associated with timelines, costs, capacity and operational commitments embedded in deal terms, highlighting potential constraints and mitigation actions
    Support the initial integration phase following acquisition or deal closing, coordinating the execution of planned industrial and Technical Operations activities to ensure a smooth transition of the acquired or in‑licensed asset into the company’s portfolio
    Monitor and track progress against integration milestones, identifying technical, scientific or operational roadblocks and escalating issues as appropriate

    Foundational understanding of GMP requirements, pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and supply chain dynamics
