Job Purpose

We are looking for a Data Analyst for External Manufacturing (EM) will be part of the External Manufacturing department within the Group Industrial Operations. The role is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to external manufacturing sites, suppliers, quality, cost, timing, and operational performance, in order to support strategic and operational decision-making, continuous improvement, compliance, and optimization

Key Responsibilities

•    Monitor, collect, and analyze data related to external manufacturing sites, supply contracts, lead times, capacity, product quality, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) compliance.
•    Define, establish, and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for External Manufacturing in collaboration with Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Procurement such as volumes, timing, cost, quality, efficiency, yield, supplier reliability etc.
•    Develop interactive dashboards to visualize and monitor external performance.
•    Deliver ad hoc analyses for internal stakeholders such as Industrial Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Commercial functions etc.
•    Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, Quality, Supply Chain, regulatory affairs, and engineering to ensure that data is accurate, transparent, and compliant.
•    Participate if needed in continuous improvement initiatives focused on the external supply chain.

Key Deliverables
•    Reliable and up-to-date dashboards monitoring EM performance.
•    Monthly / quarterly reports showing trends in cost, quality, delivery, and external performance.
•    Recommendations for operational improvements and cost/time/waste reduction.
•    Analytical support for supplier selection and contract negotiations.
•    Documented process improvements leading to reduced non-conformities and higher efficiency.

Required Education

•    Degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Biology, Chemistry, or related field.
•    Master’s degree or specialization in Data Analytics, Supply Chain or related area preferred.

Required Skills and Experience

1- 3 years of experience in data analysis, or Industrial Operations roles, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry with particular focus on COGS structure and External Manufacturing supply.

Preferred Qualifications / Nice to Have
•    Experience in international environments or with geographically distributed external suppliers.
•    Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory frameworks beyond GMP (e.g., FDA, EMA).

Technical Competencies

•    Good command of data analysis tools: SQL, advanced Excel, and BI platforms
•    Ability to work with large datasets, perform data cleansing, transformation, and validation.
•    Understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, GMP standards, and external supply chain operations.
•    Ability to build forecasting models, scenario analyses, and statistical evaluations (descriptive and inferential).
•    Minimum familiarity with process mapping, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
