Job Purpose

Help shape the future of diabetes and cardiometabolic care by bringing Mild Cushing Syndrome into routine clinical practice.

 

We are looking for an experienced pharmaceutical professional with a strong network in diabetology, cardiometabolic disease or cardiovascular medicine to help establish Mild Cushing Syndrome as a recognised and routinely screened condition across Germany and the DACH region.

 

Working at the intersection of endocrinology, diabetes and cardiovascular disease, you will partner with leading experts, scientific societies and academic centres to increase disease awareness, improve patient identification and strengthen referral pathways for patients affected by hypercortisolism.

 

A key focus of this role is building strong collaborations with the German Diabetes Association (DDG), and leading cardiometabolic opinion leaders. Through scientific exchange, evidence generation and consensus-building activities, you will contribute to the long-term goal of integrating Mild Cushing into future screening recommendations, diagnostic pathways and guideline discussions.

Key Responsibilities

Shape the Future of Mild Cushing Care

  • Lead the medical and market development strategy for Mild Cushing across Germany and the DACH region
  • Increase disease awareness and improve patient identification across diabetes, cardiology and endocrinology care settings
  • Develop initiatives that strengthen screening, diagnosis and referral pathways
  • Support the long-term establishment of Mild Cushing within routine clinical practice

Build Scientific Leadership & Strategic Partnerships

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with leading diabetologists, endocrinologists and cardiologists
  • Build strategic partnerships with scientific societies, particularly the DDG
  • Identify opportunities to increase recognition of Mild Cushing within diabetes and cardiometabolic care
  • Support consensus initiatives, scientific publications and expert collaborations
  • Contribute to future screening recommendations, diagnostic algorithms and guideline discussions
  • Act as a trusted scientific partner for key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals across the endocrinology and diabetes community

Drive Execution and Evidence Generation

  • Partner closely with Medical Affairs, Commercial, Sales and Market Access teams
  • Lead evidence-generation and stakeholder engagement projects that deliver measurable impact
  • Translate scientific and market insights into practical initiatives supporting patients, healthcare professionals and business objectives
  • Ensure effective execution of key strategic priorities across the DACH region

Required Education

  • Degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Life Sciences or a related scientific field
  • MD, PharmD, PhD or equivalent advanced qualification is preferred

Experience

  • Significant experience within Medical Affairs, Medical Science Liaison, Medical Advisor, Medical Project Management or a comparable pharmaceutical role
  • Strong understanding of endocrinology, diabetology, cardiology and/or cardiometabolic diseases
  • Existing network within relevant scientific communities
  • Proven track record of stakeholder engagement, project leadership and cross-functional collaboration
  • Experience in market development, launch excellence, evidence generation or scientific engagement activities is advantageous
