Job Purpose

In this role, you will build and maintain strong relationships with HCPs and stakeholders such as medical practices, hospitals, and pharmacies. By managing your territory effectively, you will support the use of our endocrinological products and deliver on ambitious business objectives. You will adapt global marketing strategies into impactful local action plans, driving sales and brand awareness across Germany. Leveraging your expertise in sales, marketing, and science, you will equip field teams with the tools, materials, projects, and training they need to engage healthcare professionals effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Key Account Management (70%)

  • Build, manage, and expand relationships with healthcare professionals, key accounts, and KOLs, providing therapeutic and scientific support.
  • Identify and engage potential prescribers, continuously broadening and refining the customer base.
  • Develop and execute tailored account plans to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Implement company strategies and initiatives while adapting them to customer and market needs.
  • Educate healthcare professionals on diagnostic and treatment pathways, raise awareness of rare diseases, and foster networks.
  • Plan and manage allocated budgets responsibly to maximize account performance.
  • Represent the company at congresses, sponsorship activities, and scientific events.

Marketing & Project Management (30%)

  • Adapt and implement global marketing strategies at the local level, proposing additional initiatives where needed.
  • Provide field teams with operational tools, projects, and training materials in collaboration with marketing and medical colleagues.
  • Contribute to innovative educational concepts and create high-quality resources for customers.
  • Organize national scientific meetings and conferences, coordinating with KAMs and external partners.
  • Support the Franchise Head in brand plans, business reviews, and market analysis, sharing insights with Global and EMEA.

Required Education

  • Completed degree in a scientific, pharmaceutical, medical, or business/marketing field
  • Minimum of 2 years of pharmaceutical sales experience; experience in rare diseases, endocrinology, or marketing roles is an advantage
  • Existing hospital network in niche products and established physician network desirable
  • Experience in developing and implementing marketing initiatives, including project coordination and event management
  • Strong analytical skills to assess market data, identify opportunities, and translate insights into actionable strategies
  • Strong sales orientation combined with excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to balance strategic thinking and operational execution
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective teamwork across functions (sales, marketing, medical)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and deadlines with attention to detail
  • Fluent in German and English
