Job Purpose

  • Lead direct and industrial indirect procurement for Türkiye operations, including CMO activities, ensuring cost efficiency, supply continuity, compliance, and operational excellence.
  • Drive regional value creation across MENA through supplier synergies, cost optimization, digital transformation, and alignment with Group Procurement strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement Operations & Compliance:

  • Manage local/international procurement, CMO, and customs in line with legal and internal requirements,
  • Ensure SAP alignment, internal controls, and full compliance (GMP, EHS, corporate standards),
  • Maintain data integrity, confidentiality, and documentation accuracy.

 

Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management:

  • Select and manage suppliers based on TCO, quality, risk, and sustainability,
  • Own ASL and ensure supplier data is accurate, audit-ready, and compliant,
  • Lead supplier qualification, performance management, and contract lifecycle,
  • Develop alternative sourcing and drive supplier performance improvement.

 

Cost & Budget Management:

  • Deliver savings targets and track procurement KPIs,
  • Manage budgets for direct materials, CMO, and indirect factory spend,
  • Lead cost analysis, benchmarking, and P/L impact reporting.

 

Inventory & Planning Alignment:

  • Align with Planning & Logistics to optimize inventory and service levels,
  • Balance working capital, supply risk, and production continuity.

 

Reporting & Performance:

  • Deliver accurate spend and performance reporting (category, currency, direct/indirect),
  • Ensure SAP data accuracy and transparency,
  • Drive team performance against defined KPIs.

 

Process Improvement & Digitalization:

  • Lead process optimization and eliminate non–value-added activities,
  • Drive digital procurement initiatives and ensure adoption and value realization,
  • Act as local lead for system implementations and transformation programs.

 

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, coach, and develop the team to maximize performance,
  • Set clear objectives aligned with business and regional priorities,
  • Foster a results-driven, collaborative culture.

 

Governance & Regional Alignment:

  • Ensure compliance with Group Procurement governance,
  • Contribute to MENA harmonization and cross-country initiatives,
  • Execute additional tasks within role scope.

Required Education

Bachelor’s degree in related fields (Master’s preferred).

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 7 years in procurement, preferably in manufacturing/pharma,
  • Strong experience in sourcing, contracts, supplier management, and CMO,
  • Exposure to digital transformation projects is a plus.

Technical Competencies

Technical Skills:

  • · Advanced SAP knowledge,
  • · Strong analytical and financial acumen (costing, P/L impact),
  • · Supplier risk and compliance knowledge.

 

Certifications (Preferred)

  • CIPS (MCIPS), ISM (CPSM), APICS (CSCP/CPIM),
  • PMP or equivalent is a strong asset
