Job Purpose

Responsible for various elements of the overall reporting system, in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and in line with plant, business and corporate policies. Will support the Finance Team in the execution of financial reporting activities, in compliance with Group and statutory deadlines. Will also support the Team in preparation for the implementation of SAP4Hanna, as directed by the Controller.

Key Responsibilities

As Financial Analyst, you will support the work of the existing finance team by taking responsibility for specific tasks, as delegated by the Controller. These responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

 

  • Assist the Controller and the rest of the team with management of the monthly accounts closing process.
  • To reconcile control accounts monthly and support period-end close activities, reporting to group finance in line with corporate deadlines.
  • Management and reporting of Fixed Assets. Work closely with the Plant Manager to monitor and report progress of capital projects.
  • Calculation and invoicing of customer royalties
  • Calculation of In license Royalty expenses
  • Management of monthly accruals and prepayments
  • Management and reconciliation of Intercompany accounts and regular engagement with Affiliates – Receipts and payments, Cash Pooling
  • In License Royalty and Price Adjustment calculations
  • Calculation and reporting of Revenue, Discounts and Expenses -CIS, Bulgaria, Italy and Ireland
  • Support Management accounting analysis as required
  • Support the preparate and filing of Indirect Tax Returns
  • Reconciliation of Regulatory invoices and accruals
  • Support Audit compliance and reporting
  • Support the annual budget review process
  • Ad hoc reporting and duties that may be assigned

Required Education

Qualified Accountant preferably 1-2 years experience

Required Skills and Experience

-  Relevant/appropriate operations accounting and business partnering experience

-  Strong experience of SAP essential

-  Excellent computer skills including Microsoft word and excel

-  Demonstrated ability to work to tight corporate deadlines

-   Strong work ethic and communication skills, positive attitude, self-motivated.

-   Must be a team-player, with flexibility, high attention to detail and ability to interact with different levels of management.

-   Ability to handle multiple tasks and good problem solving skills.
