This position is with Recordati Rare Diseases, Inc. (RRD), North America, an affiliate of Recordati.

Recordati Rare Diseases, Inc. Overview

The role is an entry level commercial role which will focus on inside sales for the Oncology Business Unit.  The role will report directly to the Oncology Sr. Director of Marketing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•    Conduct proactive outreach to HCPs, nurses, and pharmacy contacts via phone and email to support education and awareness efforts for oncology therapies (e.g., Sylvant for iMCD) generating leads for Rare Disease Account Manager follow up.
•    Maintain and update profiles of current and prospective oncology prescribers within the CRM.
•    Execute timely follow-ups to support field rep activity and ongoing customer engagement.
•    Collaborate with marketing on targeted outreach campaigns and special projects.

•    Partner with field sales and access teams to identify and troubleshoot account-level barriers to product access.

Field Sales Pull-Through & Support
•    Assist in fielding inbound access-related inquiries from accounts in collaboration with access leads and reimbursement teams.
•    Support with field-based insights regarding lead generation data.
•    Serve as the back up and support  for virtual peer-to-peer (P2P) speaker programs, maintaining a national view of all scheduled events; coordinate across the RDAM team and external agency partners to ensure timely distribution of invitations and program details to support effective customer engagement. 

Cross-Functional Collaboration
•    Work closely with sales, marketing, access, medical affairs, to support integrated brand objectives.
•    Engage in regular business reviews with field leadership to align priorities and highlight areas for additional inside sales support.

Administrative & Compliance
•    Ensure timely and accurate documentation of all interactions in the CRM.
•    Maintain full compliance with promotional, pharmacovigilance, and regulatory policies.
•    Support ad hoc projects aligned with brand and company priorities.

Education and Experience

•    Pharmaceutical sales preferred.
•    Bachlors degree required.
•    Experience developing and maintaining customer relationships.
•    Experience maintaining accurate records of all sales activities.
•    Experience with Sales Force preferred.
•    Advanced listening, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills. This includes phone skills.
•    Oncology, rare disease, or specialty pharma experience preferred.
•    Prior exposure to CRM tools (Salesforce.com preferred) and data visualization platforms preferred.

•    Act in full compliance with all laws, regulations, and policies including adverse events / pharmacovigilance responsibilities.
•    Perform additional duties as may be assigned.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. Based upon job requirements, the employee may be required at times to attend meetings including travel out of state over weekends and nights. The employee must be able to freely operate and travel by car and train/plane modes of transportation. The employee is required to have a valid driver’s license and passport.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Occasionally is required to lift and/or move light to moderate weight up to 50 lbs.

Location

• This position is a Hybrid postion and requires you to be onsite at our office in Bridgewater, NJ at a minimum of 3 days per week.    

•    This is position and will require travel to specific meetings as needed by sales and marketing. 
•    This position does require the ability to travel within the US.

FLSA Classification

This position is considered Exempt.
