This position is with Recordati Rare Diseases, Inc. (RRD), North America, an affiliate of Recordati.

Recordati Rare Diseases, Inc. Overview

The role is an entry level commercial role which will focus on inside sales for the Hematology Business Unit. The role will report directly to the Regional Business Director with a dotted line to the Senior Director Marketing, Hematology.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

•    Market Research: Conduct research to identify potential customers and market opportunities.
•    Lead Generation: Generate and qualifying leads through various channels, including email campaigns and phone calls.
•    Product Knowledge: Gain a deep understanding of our products and services to effectively communicate their benefits to potential clients.
 
•    HCP Interaction: Engage with healthcare providers, scheduling meetings, and following up on inquiries to support product adoption.
•    Data Management: Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities in our CRM system.
•    Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales activities, market trends, and customer feedback.
•    Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment and support business objectives.
•    Participate in all required training and sales meetings.
•    Make complete, accurate and timely submission of all timekeeping, details, call activity, within the approved CRM.
•    Act in full compliance with all laws, regulations, and policies including adverse events / pharmacovigilance responsibilities.
•    Supports other ad hoc projects that will arise with evolving brand needs and changing market dynamics.

Education and Experience

•    Inside Pharmaceutical sales experienced preferred.
•    Four-Year College degree required.
•    Experience developing and maintaining customer relationships.
•    Experience maintaining accurate records of all sales activities.
•    Proven ability to consistently meet/exceed defined territory sales goals.
•    Advanced listening, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•    Ability to understand and convey accurate complex product-related information to Healthcare Professionals, in an educated, reassuring, and professional manner.
•    Ability to accept and quickly apply coaching and feedback to improve individual performance and customer experience.
•    Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks across multiple systems.

Knowledge and Skills

•    Excellent interpersonal skills. Strong business acumen. Proactive, self-starter able to work independently.
•    Ability to work well with commercial management.
•    Self-motivated, flexible, and creative leader, able to prioritize, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment.
•    Excellent written and communication skills with attention to detail; highly computer literate (Word, Excel PowerPoint, SharePoint)

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. Based upon job requirements, the employee may be required at times to attend meetings including travel out of state over weekends and nights. The employee
 
must be able to freely operate and travel by car and train/plane modes of transportation. The employee is
required to have a valid driver’s license and passport.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Occasionally is required to lift and/or move light to moderate weight up to 50 lbs.

Location

•    This is a remote position and will require travel to specific meetings as needed by sales management.
•    This position does require the ability to travel within the US.
