Job Purpose

We are seeking a skilled and forward-thinking BI & Data Automation Engineer to lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge business intelligence solutions and intelligent automation workflows. This role will play a pivotal part in centralizing data, enforcing governance standards, optimizing data pipelines, and delivering actionable insights that empower strategic decision-making and operational excellence.

By automating processes and enhancing data-driven solutions, this position will significantly contribute to increasing efficiency, minimizing manual efforts, and improving user experiences across the organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives and digital transformation goals.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.

Build and manage ETL pipelines using tools like SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Centralize data from diverse sources (ERP, CRM, APIs, flat files) into a unified data warehouse.

Implement RPA (Robotic Process Automation) solutions using tools to automate repetitive data processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors

Establish and maintain data governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.

Optimize the performance of ETL workflows, BI dashboards, and automation processes.

Partner with business units, IT, and data teams to align BI and automation initiatives with business goals.

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree or certifications in SQL, Oracle, BI\AI, machine learning, or RPA tools are a plus.

Required Skills and Experience

  • At least, 2 years of experience in BI development and  Data automation

Technical Competencies

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft BI tools: Power BI, SSIS, SSRS.
  • Strong SQL development and data modeling skills.
  • Experience with RPA tools (e.g., UiPath, Power Automate, Automation Anywhere).
  • Knowledge of ETL processes and tools like Azure Data Factory or Informatica.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
  • Stay updated on the latest technologies and trends in BI, data automation, and governance.

 

Tools and Technologies:

 

  • BI Tools: Power BI, SSRS, Tableau (optional).
  • ETL Tools: SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Informatica.
  • RPA Tools: UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Power Automate.
  • Database Platforms: SQL Server, Azure Synapse, Snowflake.
  • Data Governance Platforms: Collibra, Alation (if used).

Required Behaviours and Competencies

  • Strong communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Project management and time management skills.

Required Languages

  • Fluent in English (Mandatory) and French.
