Job Purpose

To lead and manage the Field Force team to achieve commercial targets, market share and business objectives, while ensuring effective implementation of commercial strategies, operational excellence and compliance with company standards

Key Responsibilities

Deliver commercial targets and market share objectives in line with the annual budget.Lead, coach and develop the Rx Field Force team
Monitor team performance, KPIs and field activities
Ensure effective execution of marketing and business plans
Manage budgets and resources in line with company guidelines
Build and maintain strong customer and KOL relationships
Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical law, company policies and procedures.

Required Education

Higher education degree, preferably in a life sciences-related field

Required Skills and Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the pharmaceutical Rx market
Experience in leading and developing sales teams
Good knowledge of pharmaceutical market dynamics and customer needs
Strong analytical and business planning skills
Change management skills  
Strong communication, negotiation and coaching skills
Results orientation, proactivity and ability to manage multiple priorities
strong cross-functional collaboration with marketing
 

Technical Competencies

Ability to translate commercial strategy into effective field force execution plans
Solid knowledge of sales force effectiveness principles, including territory management, targeting, segmentation, call planning and visit frequency optimization
Ability to monitor, interpret and act on sales performance data, KPIs and market data, including IQVIA or similar external data sources.
Good understanding of budgeting, P&L management, A&P spending and cost control
Ability to design and implement field coaching and performance management 
Practical knowledge of CRM systems, Proxima tools, digital engagement tools and omnichannel communication channels.
